The Green Fields of Glastonbury Festival  Choir. 2019

Lead by Su Hart, the singers raised a joyful vibration to encourage positive change for the care of the festival site, each other and the planet. Their young and vibrant collective sound filled the fields; from pop up sound baths singing around small groups of festival goers and wayside performances to singing for many thousands at the XR gathering and 80,000 at the opening ceremony.  At night, they brought singing, drumming, light and safety to the Stone circle.

Su previously lead Glastonbury’s Shakti Sings choir 2013, with Suzie Prater and Sophia Efthimiou.

Shakti Sings Choir was founded in 2012, directed by Susie Prater with the aim of raising awareness of environmental issues and performing on site at Glastonbury festival.
Shakti sings sang for the opening ceremony at Glastonbury 2013 in the Kings Field.   Su lead the finale of the opening ceremony animating thousands with the song “Horo”.
Su Hart and Sophia Efthimiou led each half of the 120 strong choir in performances across the site encouraging people to pledge their allegiance to the planet and it’s safe keeping.
